Everyday Usability 32: Emotional design – emoji in online learning videos

This video is a nice example of a teaching video that captures and maintains the attention of its observer, and an example to underline explanations graphically. Reflect about  your experience, at least I’m sure it kept my attention and further the will to watch it again. The emoji are a bit overused in this video. As a kid I would probably be continuously laughing rather than concentrating on the context. You get the idea. Used in the right balance the they can be a great power to capture and maintain attention.
